The Principal Cloud & AI Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing enterprise-grade cloud and AI solutions. This role ensures scalability, security, and performance across cloud platforms while driving innovation in AI/ML technologies to meet business objectives.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
10+ years of experience in cloud architecture and AI/ML development
Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement
Proficiency in one or more cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
Strong knowledge of AI frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn)
Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
Networking: Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, firewall
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Tools like Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Azure Resource Manager
Scripting & Automation: Python, Bash, PowerShell
CI/CD Pipelines: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps
Security & Compliance: Identity management, encryption, regulatory frameworks
Monitoring & Logging: Tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack

Responsibilities

Design and implement secure, scalable cloud architectures (Azure, AWS, GCP)
Develop and deploy AI/ML models for enterprise applications
Optimize cloud resources for cost efficiency and performance
Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into business workflows
Serve as a technical leader to the engineer teams
Provide strategic leadership in defining cloud and AI technology roadmaps
Mentor and guide engineering teams to foster professional growth and technical excellence
Collaborate with senior stakeholders to align technology initiatives with business objectives
Influence cross-functional teams to adopt best practices and innovative solutions
Drive organizational change by promoting a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
