As a Principal Cloud Administrator, you'll play a critical role in providing exceptional IT support to the customer. As a Principal Cloud Administrator, you'll administer cloud systems and services, including recovery architecture for government cloud environment infrastructure components. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include coordinating SaaS configurations, designing and overseeing cloud changes, facilitating PaaS/SaaS updates, and decommissioning obsolete services. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 10+ years of experience in cloud administration, with hands-on expertise administering systems/services, recovery architectures, SaaS configurations, change oversight, PaaS/SaaS updates, and decommissioning in government or large enterprise regulated environments
  • Proven track record designing cloud recovery solutions and coordinating cross-team updates for minimal disruption
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance (must be current and transferable)
  • Strong knowledge of federal cloud standards (e.g., FedRAMP, NIST 800-53) and ITIL practices for service continuity and operations
  • Proficiency in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and administrative tools (e.g., IAM, Cloud Shell)
  • Excellent analytical, coordination, and problem-solving skills for complex cloud governance and recovery scenarios
  • Exhibits an exceptional degree of ingenuity, creativity, and resourcefulness

Nice To Haves

  • AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification
  • Experience supporting DoD or large federal cloud administrations, including hybrid recovery architectures and SaaS governance
  • ITIL 4 Foundation certification
  • Background in infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform) and automation for decommissioning processes
  • Master's degree in a relevant field or additional certifications (e.g., CompTIA Cloud+)
