Northrop Grumman Technical Services is seeking an aircraft mechanic to function as a Quality Control Inspector for our deployed OCONUS location.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years aircraft maintenance experience
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
  • Possession of a US Passport
  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate
  • FAA Airworthiness requirements knowledge
  • FAA Operator and Military Maintenance experience
  • Pass a general medical physical to include HIV test and TB-Tine check

  • 3 years Quality Control Inspector experience
  • Rolls-Royce BR-710 engine experience
  • 10 years transport category or corporate aircraft experience

  • DoD maintenance program experience

Responsibilities

  • Perform deployed quality control (inspector) duties on Bombardier BD-700 Global Express (USAF E-11A) aircraft.
  • Ensure final inspections are properly performed on all work completed and return aircraft to service in a timely manner.
  • Ensure compliance of FAA and Government Ground Operating Procedures.
  • Determine requirements to conduct post maintenance check flights/functional check flights & provide inspection criteria interpretation to maintenance staff.
  • Assist in maintaining current technical library & applicable aircraft forms & records.
  • Conduct Weight & Balance (W&B) on all assigned aircraft to include completion of all appropriate W&B documentation.
  • Function as site data analyst & technical/compliance documentation administrator.
  • Maintain logbook, CAMP, and Corridor log entries, and other quality records.
  • Other quality control functions as assigned (i.e., audits, metrics data, tech pub revisions, receiving inspections, etc.)
