What You Will Do: Independently conduct chemical product development and qualification testing using a variety of laboratory techniques and equipment. Run and maintain a variety of laboratory equipment Apply knowledge of chemistry, project management, and related scientific principles to execute technical projects. Demonstrate proficiency in chemistry and related fields to solve complex problems and deliver innovative solutions in fast paced environment. Summarize and present technical findings in internal and external settings, including customer meetings and industry conferences. Act with considerable latitude in determining technical approaches to meet objectives. Requirements

  • Ph.D. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related field with fewer than 2 years of relevant work experience or M.S. with 4 years of relevant work experience or B.S. with 6 years of relevant work experience.
  • Role is deemed safety-sensitive and may be subject to employer or customer drug testing
  • You will need to live in the Odessa or surrounding areas as this is an on-site position

Nice To Haves

  • Oil and gas experience
  • Experience in electrochemistry, wet chemistry, formulation work
  • Experience with running and troubleshooting various performance testing and analytical lab equipment
