Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 12 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Graduate Degree and a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
  • In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior related experience.
  • Top Secret/SCI US Security Clearance Preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience engaging with leaders at relevant government agencies, major prime contractors, small and new-space companies.
  • Established contacts with DoD and IC customers particularly in the Title-10 mission/market areas.
  • Understanding and familiarity with broader space markets focused on supplying imaging components.
  • Disciplined, self-starting professional who can bring projects to closure with minimum direction.
  • Experience leading new business pursuits.
  • Ability to lead and develop relationships with geographically dispersed people.
  • Demonstrated ability in competitive analysis, customer analysis, win strategy development, proposal and color team leadership, and price-to-win analysis.
  • Must work independently under limited supervision.
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to travel - up to 25%.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with Sector and Segment leadership, as well as with business development, technical, and functional teams to identify growth opportunities.
  • Engage with customers, attend conferences, and identify potential business opportunities.
  • Contribute to corporate and segment strategic growth initiatives.
  • Formulate and implement strategic plans aimed at securing wins in the T10/T50 market.
  • Lead strategic campaigns targeting new business growth in payload and prime missions for core DoD and Intelligence Community customers.
  • Act as a liaison to Space Sector growth efforts.
  • Cultivate relationships with partners, consultants, and subcontractors to gain insights and forge alliances.
  • Scout for new markets, untapped needs, and potential pursuits or campaigns relevant to space-related offerings.
  • Pinpoint opportunities that align with payload or prime mission goals.
  • Support the collection and analysis of competitive intelligence.
  • Aid in the analysis of Government and Customer Budget data.
  • Promote a business acumen that aids business area leaders in identifying and securing new contracts.
  • Assist capture teams by providing competitive assessments and crafting win strategies.
  • Represent L3Harris Corporation at customer meetings, industry-related meetings, and conferences.
