As a Principal, Automation and Controls Engineering supporting the External Projects Team in Fort Worth, TX, a typical day will include: Lead technical projects involving the design, development, implementation, operation, and maintenance of instrument/electrical and automation control systems. Focus on mathematical modeling of systems, analyzing their dynamic behavior, and applying control theory to develop effective controllers and use control theory to ensure optimal system performance. Make operational decisions that directly impact project performance and innovation. Stay updated with advances in system design, configuration, and automation. Ensure rigorous quality control, complete all required training, and commit to continuous improvement and compliance with regulatory requirements. Adhere to GxP regulations by strictly following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintaining accurate and complete documentation. Responsible for meeting their individual job requirements and contributing to the overall compliance of the organization.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +13 yrs; Assoc.+9 yrs; M.S.+2 yrs; PhD+0 yrs)
The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
5 Years of Relevant Experience
