The Students & Grads (S&G) Tech team is responsible for building Capital One's pipeline of top junior talent by delivering world-class development programs. We are seeking an exceptional S&G Tech Internship Programs Lead to manage our undergraduate Tech Internship Programs in the United States. This is a high-visibility, critical role that requires a strategic thinker with a passion for talent development, meticulous program management, and building vibrant communities. The ideal candidate will own the end-to-end execution of these programs, ensuring every intern and manager experiences an exceptional, impactful journey that converts top talent into full-time associates. They will have a passion for attracting, developing, and retaining talent as well as proven experience in leading projects across multiple functions.   • End-to-End Program Management: Own the full program lifecycle for the 10-week US Tech and Cyber Security summer internships, including pre-program planning, communication, onboarding, development, engagement, conversion, and post-program feedback collection.
  • Stakeholder Partnership: Serve as the primary point of contact (POC) including communicating with associates, managers, business leaders, stakeholders, and other partners across a range of levels, business functions, and geographies to ensure alignment and seamless execution.
  • Engagement & Community Building: Design, plan, and execute high-impact, large-scale events (both virtual and in-person) to foster a strong and vibrant intern culture that strengthens Capital One's brand
  • Performance Management & Conversion: Implement and manage the intern performance review and conversion process, working closely with managers and leadership to drive high offer acceptance rates and build the full-time pipeline.
  • Operational Excellence: Manage program budgets, track and interpret key metrics, and identify opportunities to streamline processes and elevate the intern and manager experience year-over-year. Coordinate all logistics for program events including swag, accommodations, travel, catering, and other external arrangements in alignment with Capital One standards, partnering directly with our operations team.
  • Manager Readiness: Prepare and train incoming intern managers on program processes, performance expectations, and best practices for leading early-career talent to ensure consistently positive experiences across all touchpoints.
  • Associate's degree or military experience
  • At least 2 years of experience working in program or project management or at least 2 years of working in employee development or engagement or a combination of both
  • Bachelor's degree or military experience
  • At least two years of experience in Recruiting, Human Resources, or Consulting or combination.
  • Experience working in or supporting a technology company
  • Experience owning and managing large-scale student or early-career programs (e.g., internships, development programs).
  • Experience in event planning, coordination, and budget management for large groups.
  • Experience interpreting metrics and trends (e.g., satisfaction surveys, retention rates) to drive program enhancements.
  • Experience in Campus Programs or Recruiting
  • Proficient knowledge of G Suites including Google Slides and Google Sheets
  • High degree of professionalism and integrity when interacting with all customer contacts
  • Strong empathetic communication skills with varying levels of leaders and associates
