Capital One is looking for a Principal Associate to lead our Recruiting Team for the Business Analyst Digital First Students & Grads function. This is an exciting opportunity to infuse the organization with top-tier talent. In partnership with your team, you will effectively manage candidates through the recruiting and selection process, provide consulting and guidance to our Talent Acquisition teams, and participate in projects that enhance the recruiting experience. You will be passionate about keeping abreast of trends and innovative recruiting techniques that enable us to be a best-in-class recruitment shop.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification.
  • At least 3 years of experience in recruiting, human resources, OR 3 years of client consulting experience OR a combination of the three.
  • At least 1 year of experience leading or managing a team of recruiters.

Nice To Haves

  • Professional Human Resources (PHR) certification.
  • 2+ years of People Leadership Experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in Corporate Recruiting - full life cycle, research, and sourcing, specifically within a Students & Grads or university recruiting environment.
  • Ability to influence and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to use innovative techniques to attract and recruit diverse talent.
  • Experience in compensation and general HR requirements as related to hiring.
  • Experience recruiting for Business Analyst or technical roles within a digital-first environment.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business, group or organization leads, and key stakeholders within the Business Analyst Digital First Students & Grads function and work with the BA leadership to understand the talent profile.
  • Manage a team of recruiters, providing guidance, coaching, and development to ensure high performance and career growth.
  • Oversee the full lifecycle recruiting process and hiring deliverables for the Business Analyst Digital First team throughout the Students & Grads recruiting season.
  • Support your team in executing sourcing plans to identify and recruit top talent for the Business Analyst Digital First Students & Grads function.
  • Work cross-functionally across a team of high performing recruiters and promote a culture of inspiration, empowerment, and inclusion.
  • Leverage recruiting data to proactively provide status updates and hiring results to leadership and HR partners.
  • Lead your team in sourcing stellar candidates using innovative techniques to find the best talent in the market.
  • Lead additional critical areas within the Students and Grads Analyst team, including interviewer engagement and specialized location-based recruiting.
