About The Position

Principal Associate, Project Management - Strategic Project Team As a Principal Project Manager on the Strategic Project Team, you will be working on some of the most important initiatives across Card. Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification
• At least 3 years of experience supporting, partnering or interacting with internal business clients
• At least 3 years of Project Management, Process Management or Relationship Management experience

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's Degree or Military experience
• 4+ years of experience in Project Management, Process Management or Relationship Management
• 3+ years of experience working with Product and Technology teams
• 5+ years of experience leading projects through the full lifecycle
• PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Strong problem solving and influencing skills

Responsibilities

• Work on medium to large-scale complex, cross-work stream and platform projects that have a direct impact on the company
• Drive cross projects based on defined priorities; ensure scope of deliverables, timelines and governance materials are met; identify risks and issues and mitigate or escalate as needed; manage complex up and downstream project impacts
• Plan, document, manage and execute project plans to ensure delivery. This activity includes management through design, planning, testing, implementation, and transfer to business as usual. Leverage problem solving skills to ensure project plans deliver on intent and maintain key project documentation
• Partner with project customers to provide strategic and tactical thought partnership to effectively drive project delivery
• Forge relationships with Product, Tech, Business Analyst, Process, and other key stakeholders to ensure delivery of commitments and alignment through launch
• Lead and manage meetings; document progress and report to stakeholders on project status
• Identify ways to improve and streamline process and collaboration across work streams
• Exhibit a proven track record of project management, bringing the ability to quickly put structure in place to manage the work
• Demonstrate outstanding communication and partnership skills which are essential for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders across all levels to manage, inform, and influence outcomes
• Demonstrate organizational agility to adapt to changing demands
• Display strong consulting and collaboration skills
