Capital One, a Fortune 500 company and one of the nation's top 10 banks, offers a broad spectrum of financial products and services to consumers, small businesses and commercial clients. Our goal is to create one of the nation's great banks, and we have the necessary ingredients: a strong balance sheet, resilient businesses, a massive customer franchise, strong analytical capabilities, and great people. We nurture a work environment where people with a variety of thoughts, ideas and backgrounds, guided by our shared Values, come together to make Capital One a great company - and a great place to work. The COMPASS organization at Capital One creates the marketing and key customer communications for Retail and Direct Bank, delivers them to market via a variety of channels (email, digital, mass communication, etc.), and executes fulfillment of any Marketing incentives. The Well-Managed team works with marketing and technical teams within COMPASS to equip them to be continuously audit-ready, while managing some of the workflow tools the teams use to bring marketing to life. This role in the Well-Managed team involves process design and consultation, risk identification and mitigation, monitoring and providing feedback, and facilitating high quality execution by driving automation. One of the cornerstones of this work is our role in process design. We own the required processes for the organization (L2s), and are often sought out by our partners to help design lower level cross-functional processes to improve execution and speed to market, or to help identify and mitigate risks as we move into new products, technology, marketing strategy and incentives. We are looking for a high-performing Principal Associate Process Manager to help lead this work. The ideal candidate will have experience in process design and Business Process Management (BPM) tools, which could include Six Sigma certification. This role requires solid communication and influence skills, as you will need to work with varied partner groups and establish buy-in on new processes. This role will provide exposure to every aspect of marketing, and will build familiarity with a range of job families, including marketing strategists, process managers, data analysts, business analysts, and tech developers. You will build technical skills (building monitoring tools and reporting, gain experience with process design tools, and you'll join some of the best process designers in the company) with the guidance of seasoned leaders as well as through independent development. Given the rate of change in our field, the ideal candidate will enjoy learning things and working on new problems… This is not a “set it and forget it” kind of job.
