About The Position

Principal Associate, HR Governance As a member of the Enterprise HR team, specifically the Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) team, you will be focused on supporting change management initiatives focused on organizational culture, belonging efforts, and supporting governance. You will execute and contribute to a variety of programs to enable frameworks that help us operate with standardized structures and repeatable mechanisms. The successful person will be able to leverage subject matter expertise in project and process management principles, risk processes, and effective stakeholder management to contribute to team efficiency, maintain momentum, and achieve results. You should demonstrate proficiency in program/project activities, strong communication, and problem solving skills when working with stakeholders. You should have a focus on results that allows you to effectively run multiple projects while keeping pace in a fast-moving environment.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification
  • At least 4 years of experience in program management role, project management role or a combination
  • Have a track record of successful project and process management, bringing the ability to quickly put structure in place to manage tasks and related expectations
  • Exhibit proven communication skills to effectively contribute to project / program imperatives.
  • Effective deck building and compelling storytelling are key strengths, as is the clear visualization and breakdown of the problem statement, challenges, and proposed actions.
  • Have excellent communication and partnership skills which are essential for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders at all levels across the company to manage, inform and influence outcomes
  • Demonstrate good judgement and empathy.
  • Ability to leverage logical insights through data analytics (assessment, analysis and reporting)

Nice To Haves

  • Project Management Professional certification
  • At least 2 years of experience in an HR function, or support function
  • At least 3 years of experience supporting Business Resource Groups, Employee Resource Groups, Affinity Groups, Employee Networks or equivalent
  • Proficiency in Google Suite (Slides, Docs, Sheets, Forms, Gemini).

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the implementation of clear governance structures and decision-making frameworks that drive enterprise strategy and GRC Objectives and Key Results (OKR’s).
  • Drive and support the execution of integrated projects and programs, and the preparation of materials to support decision making.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to support strategic activities and practices across cross-functional teams.
  • Work closely with Risk, Legal and Compliance partners to ensure well managed practices
  • Identify and evaluate the risks that could impact the team’s ability to achieve its goals, including operational, regulatory, human capital, and reputational risks.
  • Develop and implement controls to mitigate risks and reduce vulnerabilities.
  • Prepare metrics, deliverables and decks to demonstrate strong governance
  • Research and prepare insights on best practices and complex issues to inform recommendations.
