About The Position

Principal Associate, Financial Analysis It’s an exciting time to join the Tech Finance Team, as we continue to pursue our ‘Tech Transformation’ journey, transform how we build software and be at the frontier of AI. We are seeking a Principal Analyst to join the FP&A Central Tech team. This individual will work cross-functionally across the large Tech organization, FP&A and connected teams to support effective financial management of Technology investments, budgets and lead analysis across a rich scope of work (including forecasting, software capitalization and cost frameworks). This role requires strategic thinking, analytical problem solving and executive level communication as you directly support our Technology organization. You will have the opportunity to build relationships across Enterprise Finance & Analytics, Tech Finance, and a number of business partners; working collaboratively to deliver on strategic agendas. Strong communication, problem solving, strategic thinking, and influencing skills are needed to effectively: Articulate outcomes of analysis and relevant insights Able to critically evaluate data and option sets and present recommendations Partner with business leadership to assess the financial implications of continued investments in our Tech organization Develop presentations to communicate business and analysis results to senior leadership audiences Effective under both open-ended and tight timelines General Responsibilities: Financial analysis & reporting: Accurately analyze & explain key cost drivers and monthly variances, suggest actions to the business, and manage the regular reporting process Budgeting, forecasting, and Profit & Loss (P&L) management Business presentations: Assist in development of presentations to communicate analysis results to senior audiences, clearly articulate outcomes of analysis to leadership teams Ad-hoc requests and special projects Independently manage and prioritize workload

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or military experience
  • At least 3 years’ experience in financial analysis
  • At least 3 years’ experience with financial modeling
  • At least 3 years’ experience in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Articulate outcomes of analysis and relevant insights
  • Able to critically evaluate data and option sets and present recommendations
  • Partner with business leadership to assess the financial implications of continued investments in our Tech organization
  • Develop presentations to communicate business and analysis results to senior leadership audiences
  • Effective under both open-ended and tight timelines

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Master’s Degree in Finance
  • Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) license or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license
  • 4+ years’ experience in financial analysis
  • 4+ years’ experience with financial modeling
  • 4+ years’ experience in strategic analysis & planning
  • Proven business relationship, communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills
  • Demonstrated independent problem solving and strategic thinking abilities
  • Strong teamwork skills; ability to positively contribute to overall success of the team
