About the position
The Principal Architect will lead architectural projects across various sectors, focusing on delivering excellence in education. This senior-level position requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in system design and application development, who can manage client relationships and ensure design excellence across diverse, complex projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural design and development of applications, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to define technical requirements and design specifications.
- Oversee the implementation of system designs and ensure adherence to best practices in coding standards.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools that enhance application performance and development processes.
- Mentor and guide junior architects and developers in technical skills and project execution.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure quality assurance and compliance with architectural standards.
- Develop documentation for architecture decisions, designs, and implementation processes.
Requirements
- 20+ years of experience in architecture and project delivery.
- Valid architectural license.
- Advanced degree in Architecture.
- Proven experience in application development with a strong background in JavaScript (JS), C++, PL/SQL, and dock technologies.
- Extensive knowledge of APIs, React Express frameworks, NoSQL databases, S3 storage solutions, and system design principles.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on innovative solutions that meet business needs.
- Excellent communication skills to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with AutoCAD and Revit (5 years each).
