Roche Sequencing & Life Sciences is seeking a Principal Applications Scientist to join its Workflow Applications Team in Wilmington, MA. This highly-experienced individual will play a key role in developing new workflow solutions for both current and future products. The successful candidate will also be responsible for creating scientific content in collaboration with Marketing and supporting Sales in advancing business opportunities. In addition to supporting existing KAPA DNA and RNA Library Prep chemistries, this position offers the unique opportunity to work with Roche's groundbreaking Sequencing by Expansion (SBX) technology-an ultra-rapid, scalable, and flexible next-generation sequencing platform. SBX represents a significant advancement in genomics by reducing the time from sample to genome from days to hours, enabling deeper insights into complex diseases like cancer and neurodegenerative disorders. As a Principal Applications Scientist, you will play a critical role in translating this innovative technology into practical workflows and scientific content that accelerate discovery and adoption across research and clinical settings.
