  • Provide technical expertise, oversight, and leadership for operational maintenance of existing virtualized and non-virtualized systems.
  • Drive the deployment of new distributed application infrastructure to augment capacity and resiliency.
  • Identify and drive improvements to existing distributed application infrastructure and operational practices.
  • Lead day-to-day operational management of production systems controlling access, policy, mobility, signaling, and routing functions.
  • Monitor mission-critical systems and respond to issues with urgency.
  • Engage with vendors and internal/external support teams to resolve issues.
  • Develop new procedures and explore process improvements.
  • Support a flexible work schedule, including overnight maintenance and weekend work.
  • Participate in on-call rotation for 24x7 critical support.
  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant experience.
  • Experience leading diverse teams in designing and implementing enterprise solutions.
  • Hands-on experience deploying, configuring, and supporting applications in a distributed Kubernetes cloud environment.
  • Linux System Administration skills.
  • Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Ansible, Perl, Shell.
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP Networking fundamentals and troubleshooting.
  • Experience in collecting and analyzing packet captures.
  • Leadership experience as a subject matter expert.
  • Degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, or Technology related field.
  • Ability to lead and drive projects to completion.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Advanced hands-on experience in Kubernetes cloud environments.
  • Advanced Linux System Administration skills.
  • Ability to lead technical discussions with diverse teams.
