About The Position

Identifies solutions which help the organization achieve its strategic goals to transform business needs and requirements into application resolutions. Builds relationships across various business operations, including interfacing with executives, and leadership, as well as educating colleagues to increase our organization’s analytical excellence. Leads new development projects and is the primary subject matter expert on their technology platform and/or application. Collaborates with Adventist Health system and individual market leaders as well as other technical experts within the data and analytics team. Designs and leads collaborative projects with market team members in finance, system leadership, and other corporate functions. Ensures completion and implementation of special projects and supports achievement of overall system goals. Serves as subject matter expert in required area of expertise, ie. advanced knowledge of finance, clinical, or operational processes and tools. Translates and documents customer requirements. Prioritizes requirements and creates conceptual mock-ups, data flow or process strategies. Ensures the solutions meet the company/department data standards. Performs functional testing of application and its solutions. Utilizes current strategy in the design of new data models seeking successful project outcomes. Leads projects to develop the capabilities of technical and business solutions and platforms, including scoping and resourcing clinical, revenue cycle, labor, or other Adventist Health initiatives that use the products mentioned above. Identifies solutions to attain strategic goals and transform business needs using application solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in mathematics, finance, accounting, healthcare administration or equivalent combination of education and experience: Required
  • Five years' related experience: Preferred

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree: Preferred

Responsibilities

  • Designs and implements standard tools, templates and methodologies for financial, clinical and/or operational analysis.
  • Creates enterprise platform scale solutions and reports on system initiatives.
  • Designs new processes, tools and services; Implements new products, services, or techniques in response to operational problems and technical issues; modifies existing tools or processes.
  • Collaborates with technical resources to ensure data integrity and solution reliability.
  • Proactively identifies and implements opportunities for process improvement leading to increased efficiency, application reliability, and data integrity.
  • Leads functional testing of applications.
  • Performs accurate/timely maintenance of applications.
  • Collaborates with and leads team on system wide application management and maintenance.
  • Maintains responsibility and accountability for performing financial and/or operational analysis, performance tracking and analysis for systemwide initiatives.
  • Collaborates with market leaders to perform regional and market analysis.
  • Leads multidisciplinary teams and coordinates necessary resources to drive successful new development project completion.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
