The SM-3 IB team is expanding, and we’re seeking an experienced Program Controls Analyst to play a critical role in shaping the future of our production capabilities. In this unique and exciting position, you’ll provide essential financial and proposal support to expand our capacity for delivering on customer needs, while contributing to the execution of future production awards. As part of the Shipboard Missiles Strategic Business Unit, with annual sales of approximately $900M and a secure long-term business outlook, SM-3 offers a dynamic and stable environment for growth. This role is central to advancing our SM-3 IB proposal activities, including Munitions Acceleration and FY26+ production efforts. You’ll have the opportunity to manage the financials tied to increasing both our factory capacity and that of our suppliers, setting the stage for successful follow-on production awards. This position is currently designated as Onsite. However, the successful candidate will be required to work onsite from one of the following Raytheon locations: Tucson AZ, Huntsville, AL, Aurora, CO, Andover, MA or McKinney, TX.

  • Provide thorough cost and schedule analysis.
  • Coordinate the development of quarterly Estimate-at-Completion (EAC).
  • Provide financial guidance and solutions to Program Team and Leads.
  • Prepare finance charts for Program Management Reviews, monthly operating reviews, financial overviews and other reporting activities as required.
  • Provide cost, schedule, financial analysis/reporting, funding planning, maintenance utilizing standard company tools and processes.
  • Implementation and Maintenance of Earned Value Management.
  • Provide financial guidance and solutions to Program Team and Leads.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of Contract Data Requirement Lists (CDRLs).
  • Guiding efforts for effective completion of Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBRs), and Internal Surveillance Reviews (ISRs).
  • Establish and maintain program logs (Work Authorization, Contract Mod Log, R&Os).
  • Typically requires A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business related field or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience is required.
  • Experience interfacing and conducting business with various functional disciplines (Contracts, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain) in program development and execution.
  • Experience with MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance.
  • US citizenship is required as only US citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management both verbally and in written form.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to meet critical deadlines and work in team environment to provide solution and continuous process improvement.
