The Strategic Aerospace Department Office of the Director provides guidance and direction to a multi-disciplinary team of engineers that provides cutting edge engineering development services to the USAF. The role involves leading the development of advanced proven Physics-based AI/ML algorithms/models, supporting innovative research in AI as applied to System and UAS/Avionics subsystems, and acting as the system architect for AI development. The position also includes managing and leading a multidisciplinary staff to deliver cutting edge AI solutions, writing proposals and articles, attending conferences, and training junior AI staff.
