Our team provides industry-leading analysis of LNG assets around the world, with a focus on understanding the commercial factors that drive developments. The role, located in Houston, is focused on North American LNG and is pivotal to the success of Wood Mackenzie gas research. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our North American LNG export research and providing high-quality asset and market analysis on the sector. This will include defining the Wood Mackenzie view on; LNG supply projects and project economics, key LNG export companies, LNG feedgas options, LNG contracting structures, liquefaction costs and EPC terms and LNG emissions and emissions mitigation strategies. The role holder will collaborate with the wider North America and global gas teams to publish thought leading insights, topical reports, and update datasets. A key part of the role will also be focused on speaking with existing and prospective Wood Mackenzie clients and building our gas and LNG business in the Americas, alongside our sales and consulting teams. We are looking for a candidate who can lead discussions on North American and global LNG market developments with clients at a senior level, who is able to build and maintain contacts with key players in the industry and is capable of developing research and commercial relationships. We are also looking for someone who is a team player and capable of coaching less experienced team members across our gas research and consulting teams.
