About The Position

Slalom is seeking AI Solution Architects to join the Global AI Team. You will help evangelize and deliver cutting-edge AI solutions for our most important customers working with and across market teams. You have hands-on expertise with leading technologies for building applications powered by machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, or natural language processing. You realize code and data are just the start… you've built AI applications and operated them in production environments with actual usage. You've told stories about how use cases connect to business outcomes and working with stakeholders to support adoption. You blend expertise with empathy, teamwork, and mentoring to build lasting relationships resulting in customer success and growth. The team is globally distributed, but the role may include 30-50% travel to customers and markets.

Requirements

• Experience in a technical or sales support role, within Data Science, Machine Learning, or AI.
• Hands-on experience with Machine Learning frameworks such as Python, Scikit-learn, and TensorFlow.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure and their basic services.
• Experience implementing MLOps best practices and ML workflow tools.
• Good communication skills and willingness to develop presentation and storytelling abilities.
• Enthusiasm for AI/ML technologies and a proactive attitude towards learning and staying updated.

Responsibilities

• Provide support in presales activities by assisting customers in understanding their business challenges and suggesting AI/ML solutions.
• Apply Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and other relevant technologies to assist in building proof of concepts (POCs) and prototypes.
• Assist in the design, development, and presentation of ML solutions in areas such as Computer Vision, NLP, Recommendation Systems, etc.
• Stay updated on fundamental AI/ML concepts and emerging trends to contribute to solution discussions and development.
• Assist in preparing technical presentations and participating in workshops and hackathons to help educate clients on AI/ML capabilities.
• Collaborate with account teams, solution architects, and engagement managers to support technical sales cycles and translate ML solutions into business impact.
• Support the team in creating pricing strategies, go-to-market plans, and identifying potential partnerships to promote AI/ML adoption.
• Contribute to the growth of the AI/ML community within the organization through learning, mentoring, and sharing knowledge.
