About The Position

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Principal AI Engineer in United States. This role is a senior technical leadership position focused on designing, building, and scaling AI-powered solutions that directly impact go-to-market workflows. You will translate complex business problems into production-grade AI systems, including Generative AI, LLM-powered applications, and predictive models. The position combines hands-on engineering with strategic architectural leadership, setting standards for AI integration, reliability, and scalability. You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders across sales, marketing, and customer success to embed AI into day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguous, high-impact environments, enjoys experimentation, and balances innovation with operational excellence. This fully remote role offers the opportunity to shape AI strategy and delivery for mission-critical business systems.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, or ML engineering
  • Hands-on experience delivering AI-powered systems to production
  • Strong expertise in Generative AI, LLMs, prompt engineering, and RAG architectures
  • Experience building machine learning models and intelligent systems that support business decision-making
  • Proficiency in modern programming languages such as Python, SQL, Go, or Java
  • Familiarity with data pipelines, feature engineering, APIs, and system integration
  • Strong architectural judgment and ability to balance tradeoffs between speed, scalability, quality, and maintainability
  • Experience integrating AI into business or GTM systems, such as CRM, analytics platforms, or internal tools

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and operate production-grade AI solutions that enhance GTM operations, including account intelligence, deal prioritization, personalization, and forecasting
  • Lead technical architecture and implementation of ML systems, LLMs, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) applications, and recommendation engines
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical designs and actionable AI workflows
  • Own end-to-end lifecycle of AI solutions, from data ingestion and feature engineering to model deployment, monitoring, and iteration
  • Integrate AI capabilities into CRM, analytics, and internal tools while maintaining reliability, observability, and performance
  • Establish best practices for AI engineering, including model evaluation, performance optimization, and governance
  • Partner with Data, Security, and Legal teams to ensure compliance with privacy, security, and data quality standards
