This is where next-generation technology, capability, digital connectivity and Operational Excellence converge to create the global standard for high-volume, highly-efficient Drug Product manufacturing. This will include Component Prep & Compounding, Liquid PFS Filling, Automated Inspection, Autoinjector Assembly, Packaging/Finished Products. The facility's core is defined by innovation - leveraging advanced automation, robotics, digital tools, real-time data analytics, and simple, streamlined processes to produce the highest quality medicines. This plant will not only meet today’s demand for CVRM (Cardiovascular, Renal, and Metabolism) medicines but is a strategic commitment to be scalable with this portfolio, which serves one of the largest patient populations in the world. This is a fast-paced, highly entrepreneurial environment with a high-level of accountability from the site team to launch operations in 2028. While initially you will perform a mix of remote and some onsite work we expect to transition to fully local, onsite work in beautiful Holly Springs, NC by mid-2026. The Opportunity: In this exciting role, you will provide administrative support to the site General Manager/ VP and Leadership Team for the Holly Springs, NC facility. Initially, you will perform a mix of remote and potentially some onsite work and transition to local full time on-site work as the site is built by mid-2026. You will work with minimal direction to carry out a wide range of administrative duties as outlined below, with a strong emphasis on organization and proactive coordination of activities. You will exercise independent judgment and discretion with sensitive/confidential and proprietary information You will provide guidance to other administrative/ clerical support. Hold staff meetings, coach and train other administrative staff. During the initial start-up and hiring phase, you will coordinate with the Talent Acquisition team to schedule interviews with prospective talent with a focus on both hiring manager and candidate experience. You will act as the team "go-to-person" for general operational or administrative questions or other inquiries You will work on complex assignments, projects as an individual contributor or cross functionally. Such assignments require professional judgment and initiative in resolving problems and making recommendations. With high attention to details, you will plan, coordinate and manage a complex and dynamic calendar that includes coordination of personnel in different geographical regions/time zones. Calendar may include meeting scheduling, resolution of scheduling conflicts, scheduling appointments with external guests and officials, and interviews as necessary. You will organize management travel and prepare expense reports You will participate in planning and execution of All Hands meetings, leads and or participates in planning of departmental and site level activities and events (socials, round tables, team builders, etc.) You will provide support on editing and formatting management documents, materials and/or presentations, gathering information or conducting analyses to support the Vice President and other management team members. You will process contractual agreements with vendors, payment request, and purchase orders You will streamlines and reduces unnecessary administrative or operational burdens for senior Management, promotes continuous improvement culture in the organization You will represent Genentech, Vice President and team (as appropriate) with the utmost professionalism

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 5+ years of senior level administrative assistant experience in a fast paced environment, preferably at the Senior Management or Executive level
  • able to work flexible schedule when needed
  • able to remain poised and professional in all interactions
  • strong, positive interpersonal and collaboration skills
  • able to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet set deadlines
  • able to handle routine and impromptu assignments with minimal supervision yet displays flexibility in taking direction from team and co-workers
  • excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • able to work independently, display proactive problem solving and good judgment within agreed parameters
  • use good judgment and show initiative in resolving problems and making recommendations.
  • high degree of proficiency in standard business software applications including word processing, spreadsheets, Power Point, Google applications, and database maintenance.
