The NYC Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) enriches the environment and protects public health for all New Yorkers by providing 1.1 billion gallons of high-quality drinking water, managing wastewater and stormwater, and reducing air, noise, and hazardous materials pollution. Under general direction, with wide latitude for the exercise of independent initiative and judgment performs exceptionally difficult and still more responsible supervisory, analytic or specialized administrative or management work with the position of a executive assistant as well as assisting with the supervision of clerical staff in clerical and related daily duties. Assisting with ACCO related contract payments; assisting contractor/subcontractors in an as needed basis. Database; Updating Bureau's tracking database system (INFOR/IPS); Assisting Resident Engineers with daily requests; Assisting with the EC LEAD program; tracking/retrieval of EC Archive Data files; Willing to take on additional tasks as needed with no advance notice.
