About The Position
The Principal Accountant is responsible for organizing and coordinating the preparation of the City's Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) within the accounting division. This role involves providing technical assistance to supervisory and management staff across all City Departments regarding financial transactions, as well as analyzing, reviewing, evaluating, and reconciling all funds and accounts. The Principal Accountant will also provide management reports and assist in the development and implementation of adopted financial policies.
