The City of Laramie is seeking a Principal Accountant to join our dedicated finance team. Under limited direction, the Principal Accountant will perform a wide range of responsible, confidential, and professional accounting, budgeting, and finance-related duties. This role will also serve as a liaison between City departments, staff, outside agencies, and the public, while taking a leadership role in managing and improving transaction processing systems. As a Principal Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the City's financial integrity and transparency, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting the implementation of key financial strategies.
