Summary of Role: The Aerospace and Defense Principal Account Manager will play a critical role in driving growth through A/D customers across U.S.-based accounts. This role sits within the Go-to-Market (GTM) organization and is responsible for leading key US strategic aerospace and defense customer relationships, expanding new business to support design win (DWIN), tapeout, and revenue targets. The individual will collaborate closely with End Market, Product Line teams, Marketing, and GTM leadership to strengthen partnerships and expand business to meet GF corporate revenue goals.

Requirements

  • US Citizens, with expectation of passing government clearance
  • Education - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in sales or marketing roles in Aerospace and Defense segment.
  • Proven success managing complex major A/D customers with demonstrated proof point in navigating complex A/D regulatory knowledge
  • Experience in the semiconductor or technology industry preferred.
  • Strong executive presence with ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills across cross-functional teams.
  • Travel - Up to 30%

  • Familiarity with wafer foundry engagement & ecosystems and semiconductor go-to-market models.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow U.S.-Aerospace and Defense customer relationships, focusing on increasing design wins, tapeouts, and revenue.
  • Develop and execute strategic customer account plans with assigned accounts to expand GF’s footprint in the U.S. A/D space.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned partners; build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Work with End Market to qualify leads, determine the appropriate engagement strategy, and support lead -to-partner process.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to drive A/D sales enablement, promotions, and industry events initiatives.
  • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements, and programs.
  • Other duties as assigned by manager.
