The Raytheon Industry 4.0 - Connected Factory Intelligence & Automation organization has an immediate career-growth opportunity for an enthusiastic, highly motivated, and innovative Project Manager to lead automation projects in our Surveillance facilities (McKinney, TX; Forest, MS; ). The Project Management Excellence department is responsible for the development and deployment of manufacturing automation & digital solutions to maximize the operational efficiency of our factory and program customers. The core responsibilities of this role are to lead cross-functional teams in development and improvement of automation and infrastructure that supports factory operations - sensors, machine integration, custom software applications, commercial software platforms.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
  • Experience with Project Management, including the ability to develop SWD project plans in a manufacturing environment, scheduling, manage R&Os, and lead cross-functional teams to successful project completion.
  • Experience developing business cases and Return on Investment (ROI) analyses
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Raytheon Project Management level 6 certification and/or PMP certification
  • Experience managing budgets including EV techniques
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies
  • Experience with Product management tools (DevOps, MS Project)
  • Knowledge of transition to production of software products, automation systems or similar
  • Experience with Capital funding
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Knowledge of Surveillance business sector, have established relationships with leaders, and be familiar with the product lines, customer base, and manufacturing operations.
