This position will assist in leading the team to support divisional short and long-term initiatives related to Medicare provider network strategy and leverage analytics to drive provider network solutions. This position will support major, complex, and strategic network initiatives from inception to completion. This position will analyze Medicare network data using internal and external sources to support the prioritization of divisional initiatives and track progress to goals. This position will identify and implement best practices to enhance current tools and capabilities. This position will identify and present network trends and insights while interacting with all levels of cross-functional management, including senior divisional leadership.

  • Assist in leading the team to support divisional initiatives related to Medicare provider network strategy.
  • Leverage analytics to drive provider network solutions.
  • Support major, complex, and strategic network initiatives from inception to completion.
  • Analyze Medicare network data using internal and external sources.

  • Bachelor degree and 6 years experience in health care, health insurance, or strategic consulting environment OR Bachelor degree and 5 years consulting experience involving strategic planning, business development and financial management operations OR 8 years of experience strategic planning, market research, network management, or product development in health care industry.
  • Experience leading and formulating strategy with the ability to build strong connections with people and teams.
  • Drive results by working across departments in matrixed environment.
  • Interpersonal skills, including presentation, written and verbal communication.
  • Experience with business analytics and information synthesis.
  • Knowledge of strategic planning techniques and industry trends.
  • Able to work within a very fast-paced, quickly evolving organization and manage multiple, complex priorities.
  • Work directly with corporate leadership.
  • Analytical, program management and problem solving skills.
  • Health insurance or healthcare industry experience supporting Medicare Advantage.
  • Knowledge of Medicare Advantage provider networks, Medicare Advantage key performance indicators, trends, and financial acumen.
  • Knowledge of Medicare Stars, Medicare Risk Adjustment, and Medicare Finance.
  • Strong executive-level communication, presentation, and writing skills.
  • Experience digesting and solutioning for complex conceptual and operational problems.
  • Candidates that possess an aptitude of analytical up and downstream thinking, information seeking, have an openness to learn, and are thorough and detail oriented.
  • Advanced degree such as Juris Doctor, post graduate degree; (preferably MBA or MHA).
