Come work on the Amazon Prime Air Team! Prime Air is seeking a Repair Technician who combines technical skills with a passion for maintaining machinery and aircraft. This person will be responsible for drone maintenance and routine service, ensuring the aircraft conforms to design, and that vehicles are in safe operating condition. This candidate is expected to work closely with engineering, flight operations, and other Prime Air teams to deliver on their assigned responsibilities. This individual should possess strong analytical skills, be a self-starter, and work well independently.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of electrical or mechanical experience
  • Can carry/lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach
  • Travel up to 25% of the time
  • Experience in installing sub-assemblies and assemblies while working to drawings or CAD files
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

  • Drive time-based and condition-based maintenance activities
  • Show understanding of fleet performance metrics
  • Verify adherence to FAA regulations and Prime Air directives and processes
  • Manage fleet spare parts and inventory
  • Demonstrate proactive safety mindset in ambiguous situations
  • Follow detailed instructions outlined in technical manuals
