About The Position

The primary therapist provides mental health diagnostic assessment, treatment planning, and mental health therapies for persons with mental illness. Treatment is provided in the context of a clinical team, supervised by the staff psychiatrist. Provide superior customer service. Requirements

  • Masters Degree in Human Services field required.
  • Two years of mental health experience preferred.
  • New Graduates: Official transcript from accredited school or letter emailed directly from the school’s registrar’s office confirming program completion will be accepted upon graduation.
  • Primary source education verification required within 90 days of start date.
  • Required Licensure / Certification: LCSW, LMSW, LMHC, LCAT, LMFT or permit holder in one of these professions required.
  • Limited permit or license required within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

  • Provides initial and ongoing assessment, counseling and clinical intervention to a designated caseload.
  • Provides individual, group, and family psychotherapy.
  • Participates functionally as a member of an interdisciplinary team in coordination and delivery of patient care.
  • Communicates with relevant internal and external care providers to complete ongoing assessment and to coordinate care.
  • Participates in and incorporates professional supervision and ongoing education toward quality care.
  • Completes all required documentation in a timely and comprehensive manner.
  • Maintains a full caseload, meeting productivity requirements and seeks to keep the incidence of failed appointments to a minimum.
  • Utilizes efficient computer skills for electronic documentation.
  • Must obtain licensure or permit in a timely manner.
  • Primary resource for team on integrating vocational goals and services with other team members.
  • Off-site and in-home delivery of services to clients and families.
