About The Position
Phoenix Behavioral Health is an adult outpatient and partial hospitalization mental health program providing structured, recovery-oriented treatment to individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, mood disorders, and co-occurring conditions.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field
- NJ License or License-Eligible (LSW, LAC, LPC, LCSW, )
Nice To Haves
- Experience in PHP, IOP, or outpatient mental health
- Group therapy experience
- Comfort working with mood disorders, trauma, and co-occurring diagnoses
Responsibilities
- Carry a manageable caseload of adult clients
- Conduct intakes and biopsychosocial assessments
- Facilitate structured therapeutic groups (CBT, DBT, coping skills, relapse prevention)
- Provide individual therapy sessions
- Develop and update treatment plans
- Coordinate care with psychiatry and case management
- Participate in weekly treatment team meetings
- Complete clinical documentation in our EHR
