About The Position

The Primary Therapist at Willow Springs Recovery LLC is responsible for assessing and monitoring client behavior within the Detoxification, Residential, and Therapeutic Programs. This role involves collaboration with the Clinical Supervisor and Clinical Director to ensure that all services meet the organization's standards. The Primary Therapist documents client behavior, facilitates group participation and counseling, coordinates treatment and discharge planning, and provides crisis management and education for clients and their families in a therapeutic setting.

Requirements

• Possess a basic knowledge of administrative functions including interpersonal communications, office etiquette, and computer skills.
• Advanced knowledge of the 12-step treatment model and its application in residential treatment.
• Possess strong clinically ethical standards.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office suite applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of dual diagnosis treatment practices including non-pharmacological symptom management techniques.
• Advanced knowledge of HIPAA regulations and CFR 42 requirements.
• LPC, LMSW, LCSW, or LMFT License required for Primary Therapist role.
• Master's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor client behavior within Detoxification, Residential, and Therapeutic Programs.
• Document client behavior, group participation, and counseling activities.
• Coordinate treatment and discharge planning for clients.
• Provide crisis management and group therapies.
• Facilitate referrals in the transition of care for clients.
• Educate clients and their families/significant others in a therapeutic milieu setting.
