About The Position

Pinnacle Peak Recovery is a mental health and substance use treatment provider located in Scottsdale, Arizona. Our program focuses on a comprehensive and holistic approach to overcoming addiction and mental health disorders in a safe, confidential, and supportive environment. We offer nationally recognized, evidence-based treatment options including MAT. Our clinic aspires to the highest level of care and is proud to have received accreditation from the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO). The Primary Therapist is responsible for providing accurate biopsychosocial assessments, treatment planning, group/individual/family therapy and crisis intervention. The position is full-time with a flexible work schedule after the initial 90 days.

Requirements

• LPC or LCSW
• Prefer certification or experience in trauma therapy
• Must have at least two (2) years clean and sober if incumbent has disclosed they are in recovery.
• Experience in the treatment of substance use/co-occurring disorders
• Computer proficiency (Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook skills)
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to operate under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Completes a thorough biopsychosocial assessment and other screening tools as required.
• Collaborates with the client to develop and implement an effective treatment plan.
• Provide individual, family and group therapy.
• Serves as the point of contact for coordination and communication with other systems where clinical knowledge of the case is crucial.
• Continuously evaluates the effectiveness of treatment through the ongoing assessment of the client and his/her natural supports.
• Maintains thorough documentation.
• Participates in individual and group supervision that meets the standards set by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners, and in accordance with organizational policy.
• Works collaboratively in a team environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
