About The Position

As a Primary Therapist at ERC Pathlight, you can expect to be a part of a team that delivers hands-on treatment, therapy sessions and/or support to our patients in one of our many centers around the nation, or virtually through our tele-behavioral health platform. The Primary Therapists conduct individual, family, and group therapy (adults, children, and adolescents) on topics such as mood, anxiety, stress, and eating disorders. Our Primary Therapists develop each patient's individualized treatment plan and work with the interdisciplinary treatment team to implement the plan.

Requirements

  • Master's or Doctorate Degree required in counseling or related field.
  • Registered as an associate or intern phase of licensure or what is required by the state to practice individual therapy.
  • Experience with individual/family therapy preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Has obtained and maintains a full clinical mental health license as required by state.
  • Has carried a significant individual and/or family caseload for at least 2 years with documented success in treating patients with common diagnoses and expected comorbidities.
  • At least 3 years post licensure experience working with mood, anxiety, ED, and/or trauma-related disorders.
  • Some experience supervising other clinicians.
  • Has carried a significant individual and/or family caseload, with success treating more complex cases.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct psychotherapy including individual, group, and family therapy.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and treatment planning for each patient on case load.
  • Complete biopsychosocial, self-harm, and suicide assessments.
  • Create individualized treatment plans with specific and measurable goals in collaboration with treatment team members.
  • Create treatment agreements, support plans, or behavior plans as needed.
  • Complete clinical paperwork including treatment plans, individual and family therapy progress notes, group notes, wellness plans, aftercare plans, and discharge summaries.
  • Attend treatment team meetings and treatment team rounds to coordinate patient care with the interdisciplinary team.
