About The Position

Founded in 2008 by pre-eminent psychiatrists and psychologists in the eating disorder space, ERC Pathlight now treats over 6,000 patients per year, operates more than 30 facilities in 9 states and delivers tele-healthcare to patients nationally. We offer the most comprehensive treatment program in the country for patients who struggle with eating disorders, mood and anxiety and trauma-related disorders. As a Primary Therapist at ERC Pathlight, you can expect to be a part of team that delivers hands-on treatment, therapy sessions and/or support to our patients in one of our many centers around the nation, or virtually through our tele-behavioral health platform. The Primary Therapists Conducts individual, family, and group therapy (adults, children and adolescents) on topics such as mood, anxiety, stress and eating disorders. Our Primary Therapists develop each patient's individualized treatment plan and work with interdisciplinary treatment team to implement the plan. You will serve patients daily in a multitude of ways:
Requirements
- Master's or Doctorate Degree required in counseling or related field
- Registered as an associate or intern phase of licensure or what is required by the state to practice individual therapy
- Experience with individual/family therapy preferred
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychotherapy including individual, group and family therapy
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and treatment planning for each patient on case load:
- Complete biopsychosocial, self-harm and suicide assessments
- Create individualized treatment plan with specific and measurable goals in collaboration with treatment team members
- Create treatment agreements, support plans or behavior plans as needed
- For each patient on case load, complete clinical paperwork including:
- Treatment plans
- Individual and Family Therapy progress notes and group notes
- Wellness plan and aftercare plan
- Discharge summary
- Attend treatment team meetings and treatment team rounds to coordinate patients care with interdisciplinary team
