About The Position

Mother Teresa of Calcutta Catholic School seeks a Primary Teacher's Assistant for the 2026-2027 school year. Requirements

• Passion for Catholic education and a commitment to the schools mission and values
• A collaborative, positive attitude and a genuine care for working with children
• Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a Level 2 background screening and safe environment training (as required by diocesan policy)

Responsibilities

• Support the classroom teacher with implementing educational activities and lessons
• Provide one-on-one support to students who may require additional assistance
• Help maintain a safe, organized, and clean classroom environment
• Supervise students during various activities, such as specials, recess, and lunch
• Communicate respectfully and effectively with students, teachers, and parents
• Assist with the preparation of materials and resources for lessons
