About The Position

Adair County Primary Center is seeking a qualified individual to teach foundational subjects to children in Kindergarten - 2nd grade. Duties include classroom management, learning Kentucky Academic Standards, supervising students, effectively creating lesson plans, assessing student data, creating and executing growth plans, problem solving, communicating with students and families, collaborating with a team to achieve school goals. SUPERVISOR: Principal

Requirements

• Must hold a valid Kentucky Teaching Certification/Statement of Eligibility in the area stated above.
• Must have knowledge of curriculum and best teaching strategies for improving student learning.
• Must be available to participate in PD training sessions in aligning curriculum both vertically/horizontally for Alternate K-PREP.
• Have the ability to develop a positive, professional relationship with students, teachers, administrators, and parents.
• Must follow all board policies.
• Must successfully complete all required employment forms/applications.
