About The Position

This position encompasses the coordination of the clinical and operational functions of the unit on assigned shifts under the direction of the manager, through the coordination/delegation of patient care assignments and the supervision of licensed and unlicensed staff.

Requirements

• Has had a minimum of 6 months experience on his/her assigned unit and previous leadership, judgment, and problem-solving experience.
• Able to communicate effectively in English both orally and in writing.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment; and manage/prioritize/ complete work assignments and other duties, as assigned.
• Demonstrated leadership skills through collaborative practice, demonstrated time management skills to the satisfaction of the director.
• Current nursing license, state of California.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS card.
• Must be able to perform the essential physical requirements of the job.
