About The Position

The RN Staff Nurse for Primary Care will support the vaccine clinic to provide direct and indirect nursing care in a family practice setting. The RN will care for the patients including triage, health maintenance teaching, and administration of vaccines/medication. The RN will also collaborate and communicate with other nursing professionals, medical assistants, and medical providers to ensure high quality patient care. The RN will provide support to medical providers, as needed in the management of prescriptions and controlled substance prescriptions.

Requirements

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing required
• Must be licensed as a RN by the Massachusetts State Board of Registration
• BLS required
• Two years full time professional experience or part time equivalent

Nice To Haves

• AS or BS in nursing preferred
