About The Position
Mercy Clinic Primary Care is seeking a Primary Care Nurse to join our team at 2730 E Sunshine St, Springfield, Missouri. The schedule for this position is Monday to Friday, with no weekends or holidays required. The selected candidate must complete three months of on-site training before transitioning to a hybrid work-from-home schedule. Additionally, the nurse must be available to attend monthly clinic meetings on-site. The Primary Care Nurse will be responsible for completing triage, identifying abnormal patient symptoms, and notifying the physician or providing treatment according to established Primary Care protocols. The role also involves assisting with EPIC in-basket management, which includes handling incoming and outgoing telephonic or MyMercy messages, managing test results, and processing medication refill requests. The nurse will also input orders as needed to support the provider and clinical care team.
