About The Position

The Primary Care Nurse position at Mercy Clinic is a newly created role designed to enhance patient care by managing triage calls and messages in collaboration with healthcare providers. This role requires an initial three months of on-site training before transitioning to a hybrid work-from-home schedule, with ongoing on-site commitments for monthly meetings and occasional clinic visits.

Requirements

• Active LPN or RN license.
• For LPN: Diploma in Practical Nursing and 2-3 years of experience preferred.
• For RN: Associate of Applied Science in Registered Nursing or equivalent experience, and 2-3 years of experience preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) for RN candidates.

Responsibilities

• Manage triage calls and messages for the clinic.
• Collaborate closely with healthcare providers to ensure quality patient care.
• Attend monthly clinic meetings and be available on-site 1-2 times per week after training.
• Transition to a hybrid work-from-home schedule after completing training.
