As a Primary Care Physician at Nao Medical, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients seeking medical care and play a pivotal role in managing their overall health and wellness. As the Primary Care Physician, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive, continuous, and patient-centered care to individuals of all ages and diverse backgrounds. Your expertise in diagnosing, treating, and preventing various medical conditions will be essential in promoting optimal health and providing personalized care to our patients.

  • Conduct thorough patient consultations, taking detailed medical histories, performing comprehensive physical examinations, and assessing patients' overall health status.
  • Diagnose and treat a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions, prescribing medications, therapies, and other interventions as necessary.
  • Implement preventive healthcare strategies, including routine screenings, vaccinations, and lifestyle counseling, to promote disease prevention and early detection.
  • Manage patients with chronic conditions, develop personalized care plans, monitor disease progression, and adjust treatment regimens as needed to improve patient outcomes.
  • Educate patients about healthy lifestyle choices, disease management, and self-care practices to empower them to actively participate in their healthcare.
  • Collaborate with specialists and healthcare professionals to coordinate patient referrals, ensuring comprehensive and coordinated care for complex medical cases.
  • Document all patient interactions, assessments, treatments, and care plans accurately and efficiently in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
  • Advocate for patients' healthcare needs, ensuring that they receive appropriate and timely medical services and resources.
  • Establish and maintain strong doctor-patient relationships, providing ongoing care, follow-up, and support as needed.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, adherence to evidence-based guidelines, and clinical audits to enhance patient safety and care standards.
  • Stay abreast of medical advancements, research, and best practices to continuously improve medical knowledge and clinical skills.
  • Completion of a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school and New York State.
  • Licensed to practice as a Physician/MD/DO in New York.
  • Complete a residency program in Internal Medicine and Family Medicine.
  • Completion of clinical rotations in various medical specialties, such as primary care, urgent care, surgery, pediatrics, emergency medicine, occupational medicine, and women’s health.
  • Current Certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and Infection Control Training with a strong understanding of HIPAA Compliance.
  • Valid DEA Registration and CDL and Suboxone certification are preferred.
  • Must obtain FMCSA certification within the first three months of employment.
  • Valid Medication Administration Training (MAT) Certificate.
  • Experience in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
  • Strong candidates will work well with an interdisciplinary team of clinicians and allied health professionals.
  • Bilingual skills (English and Spanish) are preferred but not required.
