About The Position

This opportunity is with a highly respected, well-established regional healthcare system serving coastal communities in South Carolina. The primary care service line supports multiple locations in and around Hilton Head, offering excellent resources, experienced APP support, and a stable patient population focused on preventive care and chronic disease management. The facility is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Family Medicine Physician to join its outpatient primary care team in Hilton Head, South Carolina . This role includes: Outpatient primary care for patients of all ages Chronic disease management (HTN, diabetes, thyroid disorders, etc.) Preventive care, annual exams, and wellness visits Basic procedures depending on skill and interest Collaborative care with specialists and care coordinators This is a full-time, outpatient-only position offering strong compensation, excellent benefits, and a supportive clinical environment. Requirements

  • M.D. or D.O. degree
  • Completed residency in Family Medicine
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
  • Eligible for a South Carolina medical license
  • BLS required
  • Open to new residency graduates
  • Experienced Family Medicine physicians strongly encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care to pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
  • Perform preventive care visits, physicals, and health screenings
  • Order, review, and interpret labs, imaging, and diagnostic studies
  • Develop patient-centered treatment plans and provide ongoing follow-up
  • Provide minor office-based procedures (if applicable)
  • Collaborate with nurses, APPs, and care team members
  • Coordinate care with specialty services as needed
  • Maintain accurate documentation in the EHR
  • Participate in quality initiatives, performance improvement, and team meetings
