About The Position

At Sanitas, we focus on what truly matters — long-term wellness, proactive care, and meaningful patient relationships. We’re seeking a Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) to join our expanding team in San Antonio, TX. This is an outpatient-only role focused on quality, continuity, and compassion — no nights, no weekends, and no on-call. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Specialty: Primary Care (Family Medicine or Internal Medicine)

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
  • Current or eligible for an unrestricted Texas medical license.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and diagnostic skills.
  • Dedication to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.
  • Minimum 3 years of residency training in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
  • Current, unrestricted Texas Medical License (or ability to obtain).
  • Board Certification in Family Medicine (or Board Eligible).
  • Current State DEA Certificate.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to continuous medical education and staying current with advancements in family medicine.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Advanced English required

Nice To Haves

  • Spanish language proficiency preferred, but not required.
  • Experience in a value-based or managed care setting is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, comprehensive care to adult patients.
  • Diagnose and manage both acute and chronic conditions.
  • Emphasize prevention, screenings, and health education.
  • Collaborate with an integrated care team and referral network.
  • Document care efficiently using electronic health records (EHR).
  • Engage in continuous learning and professional development.
