About The Position

Become a part of our caring community CenterWell Primary Care, a subsidiary of Humana Inc., is looking for a primary care physician for our clinic in Longwood, FL. As a Primary Care Physician, you will report to the physician lead. This role will be onsite and in-person at the CenterWell Longwood, FL clinic. A day in the life of a CenterWell physician Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm See 12-15 patients per day Longer authorized appointments (45 minutes) About CenterWell Senior Primary Care: CenterWell Senior Primary Care provides proactive, preventive care to seniors, including wellness visits, physical exams, chronic condition management, screenings, minor injury treatment and more. Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine
  • Board certified or board eligible in Geriatric Medicine, Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
  • Valid, unrestricted license in the state of desired employment (or willing to obtain)
  • Current, unrestricted DEA license
  • Screened for TB

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of two+ years of experience
  • 1+ years of experience managing Medicare Advantage panel of patients
  • Fluent in Spanish and English
  • Associate who speaks with a member in a language other than English must take a language proficiency assessment, provided by an outside vendor, to ensure competency. Applicants will be required to take the Interagency Language Rating (ILR) test as provided by the Federal Government.
