About The Position

Legacy Health is recruiting outpatient physicians for its primary care clinics on the Westside of Portland, Oregon. Providers in these clinics include physicians and advanced practitioners, all of whom have been a part of Legacy for several years. Primary care providers are supported by designated MA’s and care teams that can include panel coordinators, social workers, RN case managers, behavioral health clinicians, pharmacy techs and pharmacists. The position offers a two-year salary guarantee, additional opportunities for productivity and quality incentives, and flexible FTE ranging from 0.60-1.00 FTE with opportunities to work 3-4 days per week. It is a 100% outpatient clinical practice with unmatched Epic/EHR support through the Super Thrive Program, dedicated clinic-based nurse care management, social worker and behavioral health support, dedicated pharmacy support, and a dedicated panel coordinator. Opportunities in rural health clinics may qualify for a special location stipend. Requirements

  • MD or DO
  • Graduate of a four-year medical school or equivalent and completed internal or family medicine residency.
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in internal or family medicine.
  • Current Oregon state medical license and DEA certificate
  • Unrestricted Oregon medical license
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • No J1 or H-1B visa opportunities

Responsibilities

  • As a physician, you are responsible for the patient throughout treatment.
  • Reviewing clinical history, providing the physical examination, diagnosing and treating both chronic and episodic disorders.
  • Work in collaboration with the team.
  • Maintain own panel of patients and share call coverage for the clinic.
