About The Position

Fairview Health Services is seeking an Internal Medicine/Pediatric Physician to join our primary care practice at M Health Fairview Clinic - Lakeville. Join a collegial and busy practice, located in the growing community of Lakeville, MN. The practice consists of 6 providers and averages 16-18 patient encounters per day. Full time is defined as 34 patient contact hours per week, with a call frequency of approximately 1:18, which is phone call only. We have 1 FTE (Full Time) opening available. The clinic utilizes a fully integrated Electronic Medical Record (EPIC).

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited ACGME/AOA in Internal Medicine/Pediatrics or residency training program.
• Board Certified /Board Eligible with the ABMS or AOA.
• Licensed or ability to obtain Minnesota Board of Medical Practice Licensure.
• Ability to obtain and/or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota.
• Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical care to patients in the Internal Medicine/Pediatrics specialty.
• Manage patient encounters efficiently, averaging 16-18 patients per day.
• Participate in on-call duties approximately 1:18, handling phone calls only.
• Collaborate with a team of 6 providers in a collegial practice environment.
