About The Position

The Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group (MAPMG) is seeking a specialist in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine to provide high-quality, patient-centered care at the Silver Spring Medical Center. This role involves working collaboratively with the Kaiser Foundation Health Plan and offers a supportive environment with access to advanced technological tools. The position is structured as a 0.8 FTE, equating to 32 hours per week, with a consistent schedule and no weekend or call duties.

Requirements

• MD or DO Board Certified or Eligible
• Currently licensed or able to obtain licenses in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia
• Ability to work in a patient-centered, culturally competent manner

Nice To Haves

• Experience with EPIC EMR
• Familiarity with telehealth practices

Responsibilities

• Provide primary care for patients in the community
• Staff clinical sessions at medical centers during clinic hours of 8am-5pm
• Work a consistent schedule of either 3 or 4 days in clinic
• Document visit notes and post-visit summaries in EPIC EMR
• Treat patients in clinic via in-person, video, and phone appointments
