Your Role: Primary Care Physician Assistant As a Physician Assistant with a primary care focus, you’ll provide exceptional care across all life spans and families in a thriving primary care setting. You’ll assess, diagnose, treat, and educate patients while collaborating closely with a team of dedicated professionals to ensure comprehensive care and best outcomes.

Requirements

• A team-oriented and compassionate provider with a focus on primary care.
• Excellent clinical skills and the ability to create personalized treatment plans.
• A passion for collaborative care, working with physicians, nurses, and other health professionals to achieve the best possible patient outcomes.
• Ability to engage with patients and families, providing education and support in a clear and empathetic manner.
• Education: Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Certifications: Must hold current PA certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
• Licensing: Current Texas PA license (or ability to obtain one).
• CPR/BLS: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.

• Ideal candidates will have 2 years experience as a Physician Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough physical exams and health assessments for pediatric patients.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, ensuring precision in diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Prescribe medications and therapies, always considering safety, efficacy, and patient well-being.
• Develop and implement personalized, evidence-based treatment plans in partnership with supervising physicians.
• Provide valuable patient and family education on medical conditions, treatment plans, and preventative health measures.
• Cultivate lasting relationships with patients and their families, becoming a trusted healthcare provider and advocate.
