About The Position

Fairview Health Services is seeking a Pediatrician to join our primary care practice at M Health Fairview Clinic – Brooklyn Park. This is a 15 provider primary care practice with more than 12 specialists onsite. The average patient encounters are 18-22 patients per day, with 34 patient contact hours per week. The call frequency is approximately 1 per month, which is phone consultation only with first tier nurse triage. There is an opening for 1.0 FTE (Full Time) or less, with a flexible schedule. As a Pioneer Accountable Care Organization (ACO), our physicians use a multidisciplinary team approach in managing clinical care. The practice utilizes a fully integrated Electronic Medical Record (EPIC).

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited ACGME/AOA Pediatrics residency training program.
• Board Certified/Board Eligible with the ABMS or AOA.
• Licensed or ability to obtain licensure through the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice.
• Ability to obtain and/or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota.
• Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide pediatric care to patients in a primary care setting.
• Manage clinical care using a multidisciplinary team approach.
• Consult with first tier nurse triage for phone consultations.
• Maintain patient records using the Electronic Medical Record (EPIC).
